A cyclist rides the American Discovery Trail in Nebraska. The American Discovery Trail crosses the United States from Point Reyes in California to Cape Henlopen in Delaware. While such trails are a boon to long-distance cyclists, they also serve pedestrians and bicyclists making short trips in the communities they pass through.
